As the Standard’s first international project outside USA, Drinkonomics were commissioned at concept stage to create a liquid identity for their grand new project in London’s fashionable St Pancras. Entrusted with conveying the iconic brand’s DNA in every glass, taste guru Christopher Cooper, curated numerous wine lists across key channels within the new multimillion-pound opening. The result is a dynamic wine focus that fuses the energy of the brand with London’s current vibe ensuring profitability for Drinkonomics' client whilst also serving up glass after glass of excitement and satisfaction for the end consumer. Liaising at board level, Cooper created a diverse and sensational wine offering from concept to execution for the destination hotel bar 'Double Standard', chef Adam Rawson’s ground floor ‘Isla’ restaurant, for the lobby service, in-room dining experience and for the hotel minibars. Advising on all wine related pre-opening due diligence, including compliance, list implementation requirements, operations, training and mentoring, whilst also advising on partnerships and the like; Drinkonomics were instrumental in the project’s successful launch, defining where the brand sits today in the London gastronomy and hotel scenes.
